Holistic Kids

Founder of Holistic Kids, passionate about helping families discover the many holistic options available to support their children’s wellbeing. With a background in social work and children’s wellbeing, I believe in looking at the whole child across cognitive, physical, emotional, social and spiritual health. I’m equally passionate about creating opportunities for holistic practitioners to be seen, valued and connected with the families searching for what they offer.

Holistic Kids

Holistic Kids is an online community hub connecting families with holistic practitioners, products, events and resources that support children and families.

We bring together a diverse range of modalities across the five pillars of wellbeing: cognitive, physical, emotional, social and spiritual, helping families discover options they may not have known existed and make more informed choices for their children.

At the same time, we support holistic practitioners and aligned businesses to increase their visibility, connect with families and grow thriving, sustainable practices.

Our vision is simple: to create a trusted ecosystem where families can explore their options and holistic businesses can be discovered.

Because when businesses shine, our children thrive.

Distinguished and Famous people from Merrigum

🤝 William Bray and J. S. Smith

William Bray and J. S. Smith helped establish the community institution behind Merrigum Hall. Bray, already an early Progress Association president, became the Mechanics’ Institute’s first president, with Smith as secretary. Land was donated in 1888 and public subscriptions supported construction. An enlargement opened in 1895 with a banquet and ball, combining civic ambition with a proper social occasion. Their contribution was organisational: bringing people, money and a building project together so that a small town had a shared place for learning and gathering. The later memorial hall added another generation’s purpose to that institutional beginning.
